I love words-lonely words, coupled words, words that turn into stories. Some of my earliest memories are with a book in my hand. Today, I read just about anything, from children's poetry to adult suspense novels to fashion magazines.
I always thought I would like to write, but I never sat down and tried. After I had my children, my heart began to whisper to me. One day, in a few quiet moments, I put a pencil in my hand and started to write. Once I did, I couldn't stop. And now, here I am, at your doorstep. I hope you find great joy in my stories. I sure have found joy in writing them.
A few facts:
I am married to my teenage sweetheart. Together, we've enjoyed many highs and suffered many lows. Our greatest high is our two boys who are loads and loads of fun. We have an adopted greyhound.
I've had too many jobs to count: clothing retail clerk (my all-time favorite), accountant, receptionist, volunteer worker for a women's shelter, the list goes on...
I love green tea.
I hate cloudy days!
